The Yuan dynasty was mainly Mongolia and China. The Yuan dynasty was one of the biggest empires of history. The Mongols had to fight for Southern China. The Dynasty was different from other dynasties because it had more land area. Yuan Dynasty included Mongolia and some parts of Russia and Korea. The Southern Song was most of China.
